Geniet van de prachtige natuur rondom Boekelo en maak onderweg kennis met het industriële erfgoed van Boekelo. De fietsroute start in het centrum van Boekelo bij knooppunt 38. Fiets de knooppunten zoals op de kaart aangegeven. Bij knooppunt 35 (dorpsplein van Usselo), gaat u rechtsaf de Usselerhofweg in. Vervolgens 1e weg links, het fietspad naast de Boekelosestraat op. Deze straat volgen terug naar het centrum van Boekelo (knooppunt 38)

In 1885 werd de lijn Winterswijk-Boekelo- Enschede-Hengelo gevestigd. Door de opening van de spoorlijn vestigde zich veel industrie in Boekelo. Over het spoor werden vooral goederen vervoerd. Deze spoorlijn wordt nog steeds gebruikt. Tijdens een ritje waant u zich in het begin van de 20e eeuw.

Grolsch Brouwerij
In 2001 wordt gestart met de bouw van een nieuwe brouwerij voor Grolsch. Dit nieuwe ultramoderne complex vervangt in 2004 de twee oude brouwerijen in Groenlo en Enschede. Het bier uit de alom bekende beugelfles wordt al ruim 400 jaar gebrouwen. Wist u dat u in de brouwerij een leuke tour kunt maken?
