Watermolen Oldemeule
De Oldemeule is een door water aangedreven molen gebouwd in 1690 en bestond oorspronkelijk uit een koren- en oliemolen. De oliemolen is in 1900 afgebroken en de korenmolen is blijven staan. In 2000 en 2001 is de molen volledig gerestaureerd en in de originele staat en maalwaardig gemaakt.
Daarnaast is er een molensverblijf bij gebouwd.

Waterpark 't Genseler
Aan de rand van de Hengelose wijk ’t Genseler vind je het waterpark. Deze vijvers zijn aangelegd om overtollig regenwater snel uit Hengelo te kunnen afvoeren. Vroeger werd het water afgevoerd door beekjes en vijvers en stroomde het weg in de grond.
Maar door de hevige regenbuien van de laatste jaren was een andere aanpak nodig.

De Hondenborg
Erve Hondeborg is gebouwd op een heuvel omringd door eeuwenoude eikenbomen en een gracht in de vorm van een hoefijzer. Ooit stond op deze strategische verhoging langs de Azelerbeek bij Borne een heuse burcht, van waaruit ridders de omgeving controleerden.
Het ging waarschijnlijk om een houten gebouw met een verdedigingstoren en een palissade, een zogenaamd mottekasteel.
